Technology: Trackman 4 simulators in Barcelona
At Eagle Club Barcelona we play and train with Trackman 4, the same dual-radar system used by PGA Tour, LPGA and Ryder Cup professionals. It is the most accurate swing-measurement technology in the world, in a 300 m² venue right in the Eixample.
Our facilities at a glance
- 🎯 4 Trackman 4 simulators, each in a 24 m² bay
- ⛳ Putting green with Trackman technology and an 8-metre mat
- 🏌️ Chipping practice on the simulators
- 🍸 Social area and lounge bar
- 📍 300 m² in the Eixample, a 5-minute walk from the Diagonal metro
What Trackman 4 is
Trackman 4 combines two Doppler radars that track the club and the ball separately. It is not lower-precision optical technology like home simulators: it is the professional standard, approved for PGA Tour tournaments, with less than 1 metre of error at 250 metres. Top brands (TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist) use it for club fitting.
What it measures on every shot
Each shot is broken down into more than 30 club and ball parameters:
- Club and ball speed
- Angle of attack and launch angle
- Spin and spin axis
- Smash factor (impact efficiency)
- Distance (carry and total) and dispersion
- Club path and club face
With this data you know exactly what your club and ball did, and you correct with precision instead of by feel.
Ways to play
- 🌍 Play real courses: more than 200 courses around the world, such as St. Andrews, Pebble Beach, Augusta National, Valderrama or PGA Catalunya.
- 🎯 Guided practice: a driving range with real-time data to work on every club.
- ⛳ Short game: putting on the green and chipping practice on the simulator.
- 🏆 Competition: challenges, leagues and tournaments (Stableford, match play and more).
Why the technology helps you improve
Instant feedback and objective data speed up learning compared with a traditional driving range without measurement. That is why Trackman is present at more than 90% of professional Tour stops. At Eagle Club you have that same technology to play, train and compete all year round, whatever the weather.
